Ex. How does this lesson
fit into the unit your are teaching? • Wrapping up and evaluating student work on the chemical
safety lab. Student self-evaluation of how well they worked together as a
group. • Introduction to the solar system (Inquiry 1.1) .
Students answer questions and self-assess what they know about the solar
system and what they would like to learn in this unit. This leads into the
Sun-Earth-Moon unit and the larger unit on the solar system. Main ideas in
the Sun-Earth-Moon unit are Scale, interactions, reason for seasons, moon
phases, and solar and lunar eclipses. |
